Douglas Quijano, Bid Farewell

Pinoy entertainment circle was mourning with sadness and shocked on the news of Douglas Quijano sudden death. At age 64, Tito Dougs (his petname to his talents) was found dead in his rest house in Lucban, Quezon early Saturday morning and had apparently died in his sleep.

Veteran TV host and long-time friend German Moreno said in an interview aired over Q’s Balitanghali that the cause of his death has yet to be confirmed, but Moreno speculated that it might have been a heart attack. Actress and TV host Lucy Torres-Gomez, one of Quijano’s talents, said that Quijano was diabetic.

Movie and television talent manager Douglas Quijano, was one of the most influential figure in Philippine show business for over four decades, he manages big names in showbizness such us Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres, Tirso Cruz III (first one he managed) , Aga Muhlach (before), The Guwapings Fernandez, Jomari Yllana and Eric Fructuoso with Jao Mapa (before), of course John Estrada, Joey Marquez, Wendell Ramos, Antonio Aquitania, Anjo Yllana, Gelli de Belen, Jay Aquitania, Benj Basa, and Richard Gutierrez.

Nakakalerka! Annabelle named the person that cause her argrument with her daughter Ruffa Gutierrez. Yessss!!!! She was linked to John Lloyd Cruz, Annabelle Rama revealed this during her interviewed by two power house network.

As quoted by Annabelle Rama “John Lloyd, magpakalalake ka, okay! Kung in love ka sa anak ko, umamin ka in public! Kasi, I don’t think nakakahiya si Ruffa kung… Nakakahiya yun kung hindi mo siya inaamin, di ba? Para naman siyang kept woman, di ba?

Well speculation said the romance started during the taping of I Love Betty La Fea which John Lloyd played Armando and Ruffa played Daniella.
